Very nice stay and pleasant and helpful staff.
We had two nights and was a comfortable base and location very good.
The breakfast was well stocked and I would recommend including in your room booking.
The place is clean and has all facilities needed for a short stay. I recommend restaurants very close by in Darling Square.

Excellent Hotel in Every Way
This is our first visit to Sydney and Australia and what a fabulous hotel this is - all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We had an Executive Room overlooking the Chinese Garden, which was lovely. The location was perfect for us and very convenient for everywhere! We stayed for 7 nights and it really felt like home each time we came back to our room and it really was a great start to our holiday! Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel.

Very good location
We stayed at the Novotel Darling Square from March 25-29, 2024. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by food halls like Starbucks, McDonald's etc. Behind is the Chinese Garden ( hop on hop off bus stop # 18 ) and Chinatown. It's walking distance to Paddy's Market, Coles Supermarket, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and Darling Quarter.
The room was always clean with complete amenities. They give out free coupons for welcome drinks which you can avail in the reception lobby or the Pump House which is beside the building.
Highly recommended.

Great location near Chinatown
I haven't been back to this hotel for over 10 years, and I was very impressed, and I will return. The foyer and staff were every welcoming and courteous. The staff who serviced my room were extremely polite and accommodating too.
The room I had was on the 7 floor (1 more residential floor above) at the city end, on the corner. I had great views north with plenty of natural light and a small balcony overlooking the streets, that sadly wasn’t accessible.
The room was very spacious and clean and in pretty good condition. The bathroom was in great condition and the water pressure was excellent. The linen throughout was fantastic and the bed extremely comfortable. Ample lights, lighting and mirrors throughout, including a pull-out shaving mirror in the bathroom – always an appreciated bonus. Great hotel in great location for Darling Harbour
I stayed here in August 2022 for the Sydney International Boatshow. Really nice accommodation with generous sized rooms which are well appointed. There is a bar next door, I think it’s called the pump house? Which was very good. Location is everything you want when staying in Darling harbour. Will be back in July 2023 for my next stay which is already booked. See you next month.
